Beloved friends and partners in the Gospel,

It has been some time since our last newsletter, and I pray this letter finds you blessed and highly favored. Shoulder 2 Shoulder is coming out of a season of pause — a time where the Lord has slowed us down to develop our team, deepen our personal intimacy with Jesus, delight in us in the secret place, and purify our hearts in preparation for what He is calling us to next.

Perhaps you can relate to this season — ready and available, yet hearing the Lord say, “Not just yet. I want to lavish you in My love a moment longer.”

Working in ministry and as children of God, many of us know our calling. We recognize our gifts. We understand that we are willing vessels for the Creator. But willingness alone is not enough — it must be paired with humility.

In our human impatience, we often leap ahead, eager to serve, when the Spirit is calling us to sit still and surrender. Yet, even in our pause, God is still at work. He is relentlessly pursuing His people. A move is happening in the nations — with or without us.

The truth is, God doesn’t need us to fulfill His plans. He invites us to join Him. If we don’t step into the call, He will raise up someone else. His purposes will prevail.

So instead of asking, “God, what do You want me to do?” — which can sometimes be rooted in pride or performance — we must ask, “Lord, what are You already doing, and how can I join You?”

This is the posture of a surrendered heart. It’s the example Jesus gave us in John 5:19:

“The Son can do nothing by Himself; He can do only what He sees His Father doing.” — John 5:19

"I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the Lord. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with all their heart." Jeremiah 24:7

God has revealed His path. He is healing, restoring, and awakening hearts. And now, He is sending us — not to blaze our own trail, but to walk humbly in the one He’s already prepared.

Let us be a people who move in step with the Spirit, who listen before we lead, and who serve not from striving, but from intimacy. The harvest is ready. The invitation is open.

It’s our time to say yes — and join the Lord where He is already at work.

Our prayer remains:

“Less of me, more of You, God. If not me, let it be someone else, and if not someone else, let it be me — because I know you’ve already won, I’m but a member of the team.”

The Word reminds us:

“Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up.” — James 4:10

“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves.” — Philippians 2:3

“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.” — Galatians 2:20

Our identity is not in what we do for God, but in who we are in Him. Faithful ministry flows from intimacy with the Father, not from striving in our own strength.

When we surrender our will, our plans, and even our “good works” to Him, we step into the kind of humility that allows His Spirit to move freely through us. True greatness in the Kingdom is not found in being seen, but in being hidden in Christ — content to serve in whatever way brings Him the most glory.

Why This Matters:

Every one of these dates represents more than an event — it’s a moment where the Kingdom of God touched earth. Whether through worship in the streets, a bag of groceries, a pair of shoes, or a prayer spoken in faith, lives are being changed.

The Team:

God has assembled an incredible team of Kingdom-minded servants, each uniquely anointed to carry His love into the streets and reveal the compassion of Christ to those who desperately need Him.

Kevin and Sam are a God-fearing, anointed couple on fire for the Lord and hungry for revival. Their unity in both marriage and ministry is a powerful testimony of God’s design, and they serve with boldness and humility.

Ty, one of our faithful worship leaders, has been sowing into Shoulder 2 Shoulder for years. The Lord has used his voice to lift high the name of Jesus and to teach others to worship in Spirit and in truth.

Kayleen and Tracy, our newest recruits, have jumped into the ministry headfirst, ready for action. They bring fresh energy, a willingness to serve, and a deep desire to grow in both skill and intimacy with the Lord.

And of course, our founder and team leader, Levi, alongside his Spirit-led co-leader and wife, Heather, continue to shepherd this ministry with vision, discernment, and a steadfast commitment to the Great Commission.

Together, this team brings a beautiful diversity of gifts and perspectives, yet serves with one heart — humble, eager, and surrendered to God's will. They are not only taking the Gospel to the streets but also learning what it takes behind the scenes to serve faithfully, build Kingdom character, and be discipled into deeper faith and intimacy with their Savior.

We have a mission trip coming up, as well as a vision for breaking new ground and unifying the local church body in the cities where we've built relationships and in some unacquainted areas as well. We would be honored if you would join us in praying for favor, safety, divine appointments, and divine order for each of them.

Breaking New Ground – A Genesis 22 Vision:

The Lord has given our team a powerful vision drawn from Genesis 22. This vision is a call to rally the Church — to partner with local congregations, leaders, and believers, equipping them to reach their own cities and communities with the Gospel. We are convinced that more hearts will turn heavenward when the Body of Christ is mobilized together, each part doing its work, every believer confident and equipped to share the hope of Jesus where they live.

Mexico:

  • October 11th-20th (train & equip)

  • Pray for safe travels, funding, and resources

  • Pray for our team to be willing vessels of the Holy Spirit

  • Pray for salvation and open hearts, and a mighty move of God

 Stepping Into New Territory:

We believe the Lord is leading us to come alongside what He is already doing in these cities through Street Worship and Evangelism:

  • Farmington, NM

  • Colorado Springs, CO

  • Guthrie, OK

  • Ponca City, OK

  • Owasso, OK

In this hour, when our nation is in a heightened spiritual season, we feel an urgent call to unite our efforts with the Church — to worship, to proclaim the Gospel, and to train and equip believers for the harvest of souls.

We ask for your prayers:

  • For wisdom, guidance, and discernment as we step into these assignments.

  • For unity in the Church body, that we would stand Shoulder to Shoulder as one family in Christ.

Our conviction as a team is simple: God’s heart is for every city in America, beginning with those closest to us. This mission is far greater than any one ministry — it belongs to the whole Kingdom family. Together, we can see communities awakened and lives transformed, not because we arrived, but because we joined the Lord where He was already at work. You, too, have a role in this.

Friend, the harvest is plentiful — but the laborers and resources are few.

We are stepping into one of the most significant seasons of ministry yet, but we cannot do it without you. Your prayers sustain us. Your giving sends us. Your presence on the streets changes lives. As always, our goal is to see the lost saved, the saved sent, and the church united.

Here’s how you can stand Shoulder to Shoulder with us this month:

Give – Sow into the Mexico mission trip and ongoing outreaches. Every dollar helps us bring the Gospel in word and deed.

Go – Join us on the streets or on the mission field.

Pray – Cover our team, our outreaches, and those we serve.

We thank you for all the prayers and support that have enabled us to join in advancing the gospel in the streets of America and in other nations. Your generosity and love are changing this world one encounter at a time.
