MISSION & VISION
Our mission is to see the lost saved – the saved sent – and the church united – all in the glorious name of Jesus Christ!
God has broken our hearts for the lost and for those asleep to their true calling and has given us a vision to unify the body of Christ to reach the lost. We are to go beyond those who stand in a food line, or those who are inside the church every time the doors are open. We are to go to those who will not stand in a food line nor darken the doorway of a church building. We are to seek out these people whom God has laid on our hearts - those who like sheep have gone astray and need hope but will never hear of it unless we go to them and tell them.
Romans 10:14-15 “How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!’”
BELIEFS
We believe that God always was and always is, that He created the heavens and the earth and all that occupy it. The fall of man happened in the hearts of Adam and Eve and thus sin and death entered this world. The Old Testament law showed that our best works could not get us back into the presence of God and thus revealed to us our need for a Savior.
Jesus, being the Son of God, left His throne and came to this earth in the flesh, born of a virgin, and encountered the same temptations we do. He denied His own flesh and took up the cross at Calvary as the blameless atoning sacrifice for our sins, thus making the way for us to enter the presence of God the Father once again. He was buried in the tomb and arose three days later - resurrected by the power of God! He defeated death and sin, inviting us to walk with Him in His death, burial and resurrection and allowing us to have a restored relationship with God.
After walking this earth after His resurrection, He ascended back to His throne and sent the Holy Spirit to come be our guide and live within those who acknowledge Him as Jesus Christ their Lord and Savior and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead and that one day He is coming back again to take the believers home.
Until that day, we are commanded to love God and love others, to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
All power and authority is given us through Christ Jesus and in Him alone. May we each live unhindered in our faith.”
